Pinchy, the Loving Hedgehog

This little forest guardian doesn’t just accompany your knitting… he also holds a very special secret.

When you bring your phone close to his tiny heart, Pinchy links directly to the Bosque Shawl pattern, the official design of Barcelona Knits Festival 2025, connecting nature, tenderness, and a touch of magical technology in a single gesture.

Bosque Collection:

Some creations are born from deep within… and this collection was born from my love for those places where sunlight filters through the branches, where leaves crunch underfoot and the air smells of damp earth and home.

I imagined that peaceful silence, full of life, that only the forest knows and I wanted to translate it into a collection that speaks of connection, tenderness and presence.

That’s how the Bosque Collection came to life: a small family of accessories inspired by the magic of the Mediterranean forest; the leaves that mark the rhythm of knitting, the autumn mushrooms that invite you to pause,and a loving little hedgehog named Pinchy, who holds a very special secret…

Each piece is designed to accompany you as you knit, as a gentle reminder of that connection with nature that place we come from and can always return to.

MY STORIE

Hello, I'm Silvia, the person behind Mostacita Moraíta.

Ever since I was little, I’ve loved creating things with my hands, exploring any craft that sparked my curiosity. Years later, I discovered the wonderful world of knitting and, not long afterwards, I taught myself how to crochet. Being able to create my own garments and accessories felt so special that I simply never stopped stitching.

As a knitter, I often found myself wishing for accessories that were beautiful, practical and a little different. When one of the first 3D printers arrived at home, I saw the opportunity to design and make my own tools using materials that were as kind to the planet as possible. What began as a way to enjoy my passion even more gradually grew into Mostacita Moraíta, thanks to fellow knitters who also fell in love with my designs.

Today, I continue creating exclusive pieces inspired by nature and crafted with great care and attention to detail. I hope that, just as I loved imagining and creating them, you’ll find here those little treasures that make every knitting moment even more special.
