A tension gauge designed to help you check the gauge of your knitting and crochet projects easily, with measurements in both centimetres and inches.
Decorated with a knitting kitten, paw prints, hearts and little Meow & Knit details, it brings a playful feline touch to one of the most important steps in your project. 💜
What makes it special?
This gauge ruler is designed for knitters and crocheters all over the world, combining the two most commonly used measuring systems: metric (cm) and imperial (inches).
How to use it?
In the metric system (European/Spanish):
- The bottom and left-hand scales measure 10 cm, allowing you to count the stitches and rows in your tension swatch.

The left side also measures 10 cm and helps you count the rows.
Perfect for patterns that give tension measurements over 10 × 10 cm.
In the imperial system (British/American):
- The inner square, measuring 2 x 2 inches (≈ 5 x 5 cm), lets you check your gauge following international standards, as used in English-language patterns.
- The bottom edge of this inner square (right where the tiles are) measures the stitches per inch, while the right side counts the rows within that window.
This means you can work comfortably with patterns written in centimetres or inches using just one tool.

MY STORIE
Hello, I'm Silvia, the person behind Mostacita Moraíta.
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved creating things with my hands, exploring any craft that sparked my curiosity. Years later, I discovered the wonderful world of knitting and, not long afterwards, I taught myself how to crochet. Being able to create my own garments and accessories felt so special that I simply never stopped stitching.
As a knitter, I often found myself wishing for accessories that were beautiful, practical and a little different. When one of the first 3D printers arrived at home, I saw the opportunity to design and make my own tools using materials that were as kind to the planet as possible. What began as a way to enjoy my passion even more gradually grew into Mostacita Moraíta, thanks to fellow knitters who also fell in love with my designs.
Today, I continue creating exclusive pieces inspired by nature and crafted with great care and attention to detail. I hope that, just as I loved imagining and creating them, you’ll find here those little treasures that make every knitting moment even more special.
